HE Ambassador Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Rumaihi, Director of the Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed Qatar welcome of the remarks made by US State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert .

The Director of the Information Office reiterated Qatar's strategic position in support of resolving the crisis through a civilized dialogue based on the sound foundations of the international community.

Al-Rumaihi expressed Qatar's support for the mediation led by HH the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to resolve the crisis within the framework of the GCC.
